Notes
Drafted by the New York Yankees in 1983 Traded to Seattle by Steinbrenner 1988 Buhner was coached at Creek by Jim Mallory from 1978 - 1982. He is now retired and lives in the suburbs of Seattle with his high school sweetheart, Leah, and their 3 children. Coach Mallory gave him the nickname "Bone"--ask him the story. "He's the best right fielder you'll see anywhere. He hits for power. He drives in runs. He's got an arm like a cannon. He's a team leader. And he's a class act in a game that currently doesn't have many."
