Coach Mallory has coached baseball at Clear Creek for 30 years. But it all started back in 1971, when Coach Mallory graduated from Lutcher Stark High School in Orange, Texas, where he had lettered in baseball and football. He went on to Paris Jr. College in Paris, TX where he was a two year letterman in baseball in 1972-73. He then transferred to McNeese State University in Lousiana where he recevied his B.S. degree, and where he lettered another two years in baseball - from 1974-75.

Coach Mallory began coaching baseball in 1975 at Channelview HS, where he remained as the head coach for three years, through 1977. Then, in 1978, he came to Clear Creek High School, where he has been the Head Baseball Coach for thirty years. Creek has since become known for its strong and competitive baseball program, sending teams to the play-offs almost every year. Coach Mallory has coached dozens of ballplayers who have gone on to play in college and professionally. His emphasis is on work ethic and teammanship in the basbeall program.

Coach Mallory is single and has a daughter, Lauren.
