Clear Creek Wildcats Baseball

From Coach Mallory:

Due to wet conditions...schedule and site change

Clear Creek Varsity will play @ Clear Springs tonight instead of @ Creek.
Game time 7:30.

Sophomore team will play @ 11 a.m tomorrow morning, JV will follow:  Both of those games will also be @ Springs.

The next round (April 20 & 21) Clear Springs will play @ Creek.  Subs on the 20th and Varsity the 21st.

What's the deal here? Didn't both fields get about the same amount of rain? Is the Clear Springs field better and drains better?

Yes. And yes.

We both got a lot of rain.

And Clear Springs is a LOT better field - new and drains well, especially compared to our decades-old field.

Hey, I like that "decades old" field. I worked on that ballpark in days of yore and it drained just fine as I recall. I know Clear Springs is new but our ballpark needs to be brought up to speed if it is needed. I am not happy that my old alma mater is falling behind on too many fronts these days.

By the way, who won the game yesterday?
